A lacrosse season is a sprint, not a season.
A compressed summer schedule where every home floor is roughly a tenth of your gate, and you are the only live team sport in town. We built the system that front-loads the season and makes the summer exclusivity pay.
Lacrosse is a sprint, not a season.
Box lacrosse plays a compressed May-to-August schedule, often just eight to twelve home floors. There is no slow build and no fixing it by midseason. The audience work has to happen before the first whistle, because every home date carries roughly a tenth of the season's gate.
The competition is not another team. It is summer itself: the lake, the long weekends, the festivals. Which is the opportunity. A warm night, a fast game, a cold drink and home by ten is an easier sell than fandom, and box lacrosse is the best live-audience product most locals have simply never seen.
And lacrosse holds a card nobody else in your market has. From May through August you are usually the only live team sport playing regular home dates. For local sponsors who think in quarters, that is exclusive summer inventory, provided someone prices it like the scarce asset it is.
How the system works your season.
Four phases, mapped to your league's shape. The machinery is the same all year. What changes is what it is being pointed at.
Feb to Apr
Pre-season. Schedule announcement, flex packs, and home-opener campaigns sold before the first whistle.
May to Jun
Front-loaded launch. The biggest push lands on the first two floors, and every first-timer gets a 72-hour follow-up.
Jul to Aug
Long weekends and the playoff sprint. Holiday floors get event treatment, and next-summer offers go out while the building is loud.
Sep to Jan
Sponsor season. Proof reports in September, next-summer pipeline built all winter, merch and database growth.
What runs for a lacrosse club.
These are the four that move the most seats in lacrosse. They sit on top of the same engine every club gets: the audience build, the CRM, the follow up and the attribution.
The front-load
The season announcement, the flex packs and the first two home floors get the budget. A fan captured in May attends three more games. One captured in July attends one.
The 72-hour follow-up
First-timers come back while the sunburn is still fresh, with automatic offers inside three days of every home floor.
Long-weekend event machinery
Holiday floors get the full theme-night treatment and family pricing, or a deliberate decision to concede the date to the lake. Never a normal-Saturday shrug.
Summer-exclusive sponsorship
Only-game-in-town summer inventory, sold with counted proof (sends, redemptions, foot traffic) and renewed in September while the memory is warm.
Modeled outcomes
Modeled first-season outcomes for a lacrosse club in a 2,700-seat building, based on our pilot data plus industry benchmarks:
- +500 incremental tickets per game across the summer
- A database of 8,000+ local fans within 90 days
- Summer sponsor inventory sold with counted proof, then renewed in September on that proof
These are modeled projections, not published client results. Here is exactly what we measure and why we publish it this way.

Five pieces on the parts of a lacrosse season that decide whether it pays.
Straight answers.
Box lacrosse or field lacrosse?
Both. The compressed-season mechanics apply to box most directly, but the system (front-loaded campaigns, fast follow-up, sponsor proof) runs for field programs and senior clubs the same way.
Our whole season is four months. Is there enough runway for this to work?
Compression is exactly why it works. The system front-loads the audience build into pre-season, then compounds inside the schedule, and everything it learns this summer carries into a stronger launch next year. The worst plan in lacrosse is starting in May.
Our crowds are smaller than hockey's. Is the math still there?
Smaller but denser. Lacrosse crowds are intensely local, which is precisely what neighbourhood sponsors and radius-targeted ads want. And with eight to twelve home floors, every incremental hundred fans is worth roughly three times what it is worth across a long hockey schedule.
Do you have lacrosse results you can show?
Our active pilots include a lacrosse club. Modeled outcomes are published on our results page, and we will walk you through the real numbers, ad accounts, CRM and attribution on a call, under NDA, with the pilot's permission.
