About Sports Hive AI

A sales department for clubs that cannot hire one.

Sports Hive AI exists because minor league and junior clubs live or die on Tuesday-night attendance, while the tools for filling buildings were only ever built for the big leagues. We build the system that closes that gap: one engine, five revenue lines, one person to call.

The founder

Fifteen years inside the sports media machine.

Matt Huntingford spent more than fifteen years inside Canada's biggest sports media company before building Sports Hive AI. Joining Rogers Media as an Account Executive in 2010 and rising to Sales Manager at Rogers Sports & Media, he spent a decade and a half helping businesses turn radio, digital and sports audiences into measurable revenue, and watching which marketing actually sold tickets, and which just made noise.

What he saw from the inside: big-league teams had entire departments and enterprise tools for filling seats. The clubs that actually needed the help had none of it.

"I started Sports Hive AI because I kept watching teams I loved leave money, and fans, on the table. Empty seats, scattered marketing, no idea what worked. The technology to fix it has existed for years; it just wasn't built for sports."

What we believe

Four principles we build around.

01

Built for sports, not adapted to it

Most marketing tools are built for tech companies and e-commerce. This one is built for GMs, owners and front-office staff running minor league and junior clubs, people who need clear numbers, not dashboards full of vanity metrics.

02

If we can't measure it, we don't sell it

Every campaign, every channel, every dollar has attribution attached. If a tactic doesn't drive measurable revenue within a defined window, we kill it.

03

Your data, your accounts, your audience

The CRM, ad accounts, audience lists and pipeline live in accounts you own. If you ever want to take it in-house, you can. We'd rather earn the relationship every month than trap you.

04

Accountable to your numbers, every week

We don't disappear after launch. Every week we inspect what's working and what isn't, report it in plain English, and keep getting sharper, season after season.

How we work

The part nobody else puts in writing.

Most of what separates agencies at this level is not the software. It is what happens in the weeks after the contract is signed, so here is ours, before you sign one.

01

Realistic ranges, never guarantees

We give you the range our plan is built around and the assumptions under it. Anyone promising a number has not seen your calendar.

02

Account warm up and health monitoring

Sending domains and phone numbers are warmed properly and watched weekly, because deliverability is the whole campaign.

03

Monthly ICP review

Who we are targeting is revisited every month against what actually converted, not set once in onboarding.

04

Biweekly copy testing

New angles every two weeks. Losers get retired, winners get scaled, and you see both.

05

A positive reply SLA

We commit to a response standard in writing and report against it, including the weeks we miss.

06

Full CRM handoff

The CRM, the ad accounts and every contact are yours. If you leave, you leave with all of it. No lock in, no export fee.

07

Terms of service risk disclosed upfront

Where a channel carries platform risk, you hear it from us before we run it, not after an account gets flagged.

08

Multi channel layering

Ads, email, SMS, phone and sponsor outreach in sequence. One channel repeated louder is not a system.

Who's behind it

The sports practice of BlackOrchid.ai.

Sports Hive AI is the sports practice of BlackOrchid.ai, the same engine, the same team and the same standards, built for clubs and buildings instead of pipelines. One company, two rooms it works in. A prospect who talks to both hears one voice, and a club that signs gets the whole bench behind its named lead.
